Literature Text

Raye was sound asleep in her bedroom as she was dreaming of candy canes, gingerbread cookies, and other delicious holiday treats dancing all around in her mind. Little did she know that Santa Moon and Luna were on their way to deliver her Christmas present.

Outside the Hikawa Shrine, a large, pale blue four-pointed star burst into a bright light and out came Santa Moon and Luna, as the duo landed on the snowy terrain and the light faded away.

“Well, we’re finally here! The Hikawa Shrine!” Santa Moon said, as she stashed her Teleportation Pen in the small velvet bag. “The Teleportation Pen sure does come in quite handy!”

“Indeed,” Luna replied to her. “Now let’s get inside the shrine and leave Raye’s gift in a place where she can find it. However, we must do it silently, so she won’t hear you.”

Santa Moon nodded to Luna and the two made their way up the stone stairs toward the entrance to the shrine. Then, Santa Moon quietly slid the door open and entered the room with Luna following right behind her. She placed the bag on the wooden floor after she slid the door shut and looked around the room. There was a pine green Christmas tree that was adorned by twinkling white Christmas lights, golden tinsel, beautiful ornaments hanging from many of its branches, and a star placed at the top. Underneath it were many presents that were placed by Raye and her grandfather.

Raye has such a gorgeous Christmas tree! Santa Moon thought delightfully, her eyes twinkling as bright as the lights as her hands were folded together and she was standing still.

“Serena!” Luna called to her in a loud whisper, startling her. “Stop staring at the Christmas tree and stash the present under it!”

“Yes, Luna,” Santa Moon replied to her in a whisper. She opened up the bag and rustled through it in silence, searching through it like a mouse in a maze. A moment later, Santa Moon pulled out a square box that was covered by red wrapping paper and a purple bow was placed on top of it. She tiptoed over to the tree and placed the gift underneath it, and she let out a sigh of relief.

“That was fast,” Santa Moon whispered to Luna once she made her way back over to the bag. “Now let’s get out of here and move onto the next house.”

“Use your Teleportation Pen to do so,” Luna instructed her, her voice still in a soft whisper.

Santa Moon nodded to her and took out the Teleportation Pen and tossed it upward like before, as she then called out with her voice still in a soft tone:

“Moon Christmas Teleportation! Take us to Mina’s house!”

The pen emitted the pale blue aura that flashed as bright as a supernova, and it engulfed Santa Moon and Luna completely, along with the bag of the Christmas presents. They had instantly disappeared in the twinkling of an eye, and now they were on their way to the abode of Sailor Venus: Mina Aino.
The next part of my Sailor Moon fan fiction is here! (And no rude comments about the story and characters, please.)

Summary: Santa Moon and Luna arrive at the Hikawa Shrine to make their second delivery while keeping quiet to avoid waking Raye from her holiday slumber. Once she does stash the present underneath Raye's tree, Santa Moon uses her Teleportation Pen again to transport themselves and the heavy sack of presents to the next house.
